Walk in Interview for Doctorate Degree in Life Sciences on 30.03.15 for horing one SRF candidate @ NIIH, Mumbai

National Institute of Haematology conduct basic and clinical research for the benefit of society and ultimately the nation. Newer areas developed included molecular genetics and prenatal diagnosis of hemoglobinopathies, hemostasis and thrombosis, cytogenetics and molecular cytogenetics, cell biology applications in hematology and stem cell research.
A Walk-In-Interview is proposed to be conducted on 30th March 2015 at 9.00 AM – 10.00 A.M. to fill up the following posts on Temporary basis under the adhoc project ‘‘Quality Assurance Programme for Molecular and Prental Diagnosis of Hemoglobinopathies’’ for two years. The verification will be only from 9.00 A.M. to 10.00 A.M. and the Interview will follow at 11.00 A.M. Candidates who fulfil the requisite qualification and wish to appear for the Walk-in-Interview can download the format given in the website.

Desired Profile : M.Sc. 1st class in Life Science/Microbiology/Genetics/Molecular Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Chemistry. with 4 years research experience, preferably from a reputed Government Research Institute/University after MSc Degree OR MSc 2nd class in Life Science / Microbiology / Genetics / Molecular Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Chemistry + Ph.D. Degree in the relevant subject from recognised University with 4 years experience after Msc + Ph.D
Preferred : Doctorate Degree in relevant subject from recognized university for candidates with first class M.Sc. degree (ii) Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s) (iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications (iv) experience in molecular biology
Age : Not exceeding 40 years as on 1st April 2015
Duration : Initially for one year and likely to continue for two additional year
Candidates with Doctorate Degree in Life Sciences/relevant subjects shall be treated equivalent to three years experience. Candidates who fulfil the requisite qualification and wish to appear for the Walk-in-Interview can download the format given in the website. Duly filled in application along with the copies of certificates should be submitted at the time of interview. The Candidates are also required to bring their original certificates for verification.
