One Project Assistant/RA required in DST major project at Pondicherry University

• Position : Research Associate – 1 Post (Duration 3 years)
• Project : To work in the MoFPI Project entitled “Development of Functional Mixed Started Culture for Idli using Microbial Biodiversity and Interrelationship……..”
• Desired Profile : Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology / Microbiology / Biotechnology with experience in working with molecular microbiology.
• • Experience : Experience of working in the related area and publications in reputed international journals.
  • Age limit : 40 years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/women candidates as per SERB/DST guidelines).
  • Fellowship : Per Month Rs.22, 000 + HRA.
  • Duration : 36 Months from the Date of appointment or the date of completion of the Project whichever is earlier. The post is purely temporary and on contract basis and will be Governed by the Administrative Rules/Service conditions of Pondicherry University and the funding agency.
• Position : Project Assistant– 1 post
• Project : To work in the DST sponsored research project entitled “Histamine as novel quality parameter for fermented foods”
• Desired Profile : MSc/MTech in Food Science and Technology / Food Science and Nutrition / Microbiology / Biotechnology.
• Experience : Working experience in related to fermented food and Microbial interactions.
• • Age limit : 28 years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/women candidates as per SERB/DST guidelines
  • Fellowship : Per Month Rs.12, 000 (Consolidated).
  • Duration of Fellowship : 24 Months from the Date of appointment or the date of completion of the project whichever is earlier. The post is purely temporary and on contract basis and will be governed by the Administrative rules/service conditions of Pondicherry University and the funding agency.
