Nokia Lumia's camera is being used to help in medical research along with Microscope

Nokia ,The leading Telecommunication equipment provider is again on news …not for Acquisition of mobile phone business with Microsoft ,but Accoroding to a new post on the nokia conversations blog its most impressive product ( Nokia Lumia 1020) is now being used to help medical research in tandem along with microscopes .

The post has a Q&A with Dr. Mark Li-cheng Wu and Dr. John Paul Graff,who have used the lumia 1020 to click the pictures of the intestinal spirochetosis,which is actually just a few microns long.However ,Dr.Graff states :

“ Nevertheless, we were able to take a photo with the Lumia 1020 on a low magnification and then zoom in significantly to identify the bacteria so that it could be properly treated & you can then continue to enhance this image to see subtle features such as the colours of cells ,the shapes of cells,how small or big they might be and if there's any smaller parasitic infections lying within it”.

Besides the fact that this Lumia model has a 41 megapixels, its optical image stabilisation feature allow the phone to be held by hand through the barrel of the microscope and it still come up with solid pictures. And finally the pixel size on the camera sensor allows lossless zoom when taking microscopic images.
