Applications
are invited from eligible candidates for one temporary position of
Research Associate in the ongoing ICAR Niche Area of Excellence Project
entitled “Toxicodynamic studies on impact of environmental pollutants on
bovine reproduction with particular reference to regulatory pathways”.
Application may be addressed to the Principal Investigator, Niche Area
of Excellence, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, DUVASU,
Mathura on the prescribed application form.

Age and Qualifications
Age: Upper age limit is 40 years for men and 45 years for women on the date of interview.

Qualifications:
Essential: Master’s degree in Veterinary Pharmacology/Pharmacology/M.Pharm (Pharmacology) with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average and at least two years research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/training/other engagements after master’s degree. Published research papers will be desirable.
or
PhD in any of the above subjects.

Desirable: Working
experience in smooth muscle pharmacology using isolated organ bath and
or Molecular Biology techniques along with working knowledge of computer
and statistical analysis of data.
Emoluments: Master
Degree holders- 23,000/- per month as per ICAR rules + H.R A. as per UP
Govt. rules PhD Degree Holders-24,000/- per month as per ICAR rules +
H.R A. as per UP Govt. rules.
Position
and engagement is purely temporary and on contractual basis and will
co-terminus with the project subject to the condition that conduct and
research output is satisfactory. There is no provision of re-engagement
or absorption after termination of the project. The selected candidate
has to submit fitness certificate from district hospital. No TA/DA etc.
will be paid for attending the interview.
Walk-in-interview will be conducted on 15th June 2015 at 10.30 a.m. in the Committee Room of Dean Veterinary College, Mathura.
