    1. Plan and coordinate Design and Development plans.
    2. Fabricate prototypes of new products.
    3. Test and investigate new technologies and improve on existing processes.
    4. Prepare Experimental protocols and report in response to development needs.
    5. Ensure the completion of all product development activities in accordance with design controls.
    6. Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designed channels.
    7. Lead research and provide scientific support to new areas of process optimization, scale-up and technology transfer.
