Computational Scientist, Protein & Assay Technology

You’ll be part of a dynamic team of 22 scientists and research associates based in Bengaluru. Working with our Scientists, your role will be to use your technical skills to develop applications for analyzing data, driving and supporting research. From designing and developing applications, to statistically analyzing data, you’re able to see the details in the bigger picture and turn good ideas into great solutions. If you are passionate about data analysis, computer applications, have a working knowledge of statistics, have the natural ability to analyse data based on different parameters and have worked with biological data, then this is the job for you. For a motivated individual looking for a scientific career, this is a fantastic opportunity to realize your personal and professional potential in an international environment.
In this position you need to:
- Have a Master’s degree in computer application / electronics/ bio-informatics with 4-7 years working experience in R/ Perl/ Java
- Share knowledge and communicate with peers in a global R&D organization
- Have experience in the data analysis and developing solutions in R.
- Have the ability to set up and maintain Unix/Linux/ R-shiny server.
- Have worked in the role of developer and / or architect in developing an application
- Have an aptitude for statistics
- Be well versed in English.
