The position will be responsible for providing analytical support to
both the upstream and downstream biologics process development
laboratories.  In addition, the Bioanalytical Sciences Leader will be
responsible for collaborating on the design of experiments, analyses of
experimental data and documentation of experimental results.  The
successful candidate will also provide technical oversight to analysts
involved in supporting biologics process development activities.

 He/ She will interact closely with the Biologics Upstream &
Downstream Process Development and Drug Product Development Leaders on
site and with other Global Biologics R&D team members.

 Broad knowledge of the following required:

·         Protein HPLC methods (RP, SEC)

·         Gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE, IEF)

·         Biacore/SPR

·         Peptide mapping

·         Capillary Zone Electrophoresis

·         UV spectroscopy

·         ELISA methods

·         Carbohydrate analysis

· Protein biochemistry

 Educational background and experience:

Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Analytical Biochemistry or Molecular Biology
or related discipline with around 10 to 15 years of relevant industrial
experience.
